Listed below are the clubs at Riverbend. For more information, contact the sponsor.  
Each student is encouraged to join at least 2 organizations throughout the year.

Beginning in September, the last Thursday of each month will be Club Meeting Day.  
Students are called out of classes throughout the day to attend meetings.
Some meetings or club events may also be held before/after school.  




Beta Club

To promote academic excellence and provide service to our school and community.
Requirements:  Joined in 6th grade, maintain a 3.2 GPA, and complete monthly service projects.  Students may also join with permission from sponsors if they meet the criteria.

Student Council

To promote leadership and character through school and community service.
Requirements:  No grades below C-, no ISS or OSS.
Breakout Club
Mrs. Davis 
Challenge your friends and classmates to think critically and creatively by designing your very own Escape Room/Breakout game.
Requirements:  Chromebook or notebook, good citizenship.
Drama Club Mrs. Barmeier  To learn about what it takes to perform on a stage.  You will have the opportunity to present skits to other club members, and who knows, maybe even act in a performance for the school! 
Requirements:  Apply, good attendance, passing grades (C or better), no discipline problems.
Character Council  Mrs.Borgsmiller To promote character traits, core values, a positive school environment and service enrichment at Riverbend.                                                                                                  
Requirements:  Apply, good attendance, passing grades (C or better), no discipline problems.
Responsible Student Athletes (RSA) Mr. Knott/
Mr. Miller

To help student athletes become more aware of the responsibilities of being a student athlete.
Requirements:  Be a member of an athletic club; no ISS/OSS/F's; no more than 2 detentions; good attendance.

Art Club Mrs. Puls  Allow students time to work on original work of art - not influenced by the teacher.
Requirements:  Passing grade in Art and demonstrate good character in class.

Garden Club

Mrs. Alt  The garden club is responsible for maintaining Riverbend's garden plots. Students will plant, water, and weed the plots. Food grown in the plots will be used in Family and Consumer Science classes. 
Book Club Mrs. Sauvage

To inspire reading for enjoyment :)

Baseball Club Coach Reed To help student athletes become more aware of participating in sports at the high school.                                                                                                            Requirements:  No ISS/OSS, good attendance, must want to play baseball in high school.

Indian Nation


Mrs. Lawler
Indian Nation is our pep club. It's main purpose is to support our athletic teams.If you are interested in supporting your classmates and school sports teams, promoting pride and school spirit, building friendships, having fun and saving money on admission to school sports events, this is the club for you.  
Requirements:  Good attendance, passing grades (C or better), no discipline problems.

Science Club

To explore science through hands-on experiments and activities. 
Requirements: No grades below C-. No ISS or OSS.
